Any given weekend in the city of Mesa Arizona is likely to have a few things happening in the downtown area. This is because the city is one of the most culturally active regions of the state.

While a walk along the main streets and thoroughfares will allow a visitor to find charming shops and boutiques and sample many excellent and delicious restaurants, the streets themselves always present a visitor with many things to do in Mesa Arizona.

Consider the permanent sculptural exhibition that guides a visitor through the heart of the city. Dozens of enormous sculptures are placed in parks and along sidewalks. Many are entirely interactive, with large gongs and bells as well as some with kaleidoscopes and benches or seats to climb or sit upon.
